Tabatha

Tabatha is a new model for me. This charcoal was from our first session together. I think she will be a very good model and we will get some good work done. I'm looking forward to the next sessions.

Marko

Marko, is my youngest Grandson. Quite a character, with a ton of personality. He is a great model... he may even know this at the age of 2 years. this sketch was done from a phot at the park over lunch. The front seat of my car seems to be the best studio I have right now.

SELF PORTRAIT

I am not usually enamoured by phot's or drawings of myself. this was a quick drawing in an attempt to get into an art show, requiring some sort of self portrait. I like the more serious expression, probably never draw my smiley face...to corny for me. the details are just ok for my taste, shadows hit and miss, but with all that said ienjoyed drawing it in the end.

PASTEL WOMAN

Not a very creative name. I am trying to take some of the quick figure sketches I've done and create colorful pastels out of them. This was from a 3 minute pose. So I want to see how lighting, form, and if I can capture a mood in 3 minutes or less!. Gives me something to shoot for.
